Nigel Farage tipped to win Im A Celebrity, claims former campmate
Nigel Farage addresses I’m a Celebrity rumours
Former I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Put Of Here! campmate Lembit Opik has tipped rumoured contestant Nigel Farage to be the next King of the Jungle.
The ex-Liberal Democrat MP took part in the 2010 series and has now said his fellow former politician will win the upcoming series if he takes part.
The 58-year-old told the Daily Star: “He is a natural for the jungle. He’s about the only person to survive the political jungle without significant injury.
“I think he’ll find the bugs far less aggressive than his opponents in Westminster.
“I think he’ll win. I know Nigel. I consider him a good friend. He is the same off-camera as he is on-camera.”

“Whether you like him or not, you have to admire his consistency,” Lembit expressed.
The former politician went on to say that Nigel could be a “Marmite” character and people will either love him or hate him.
“When you meet Nigel, he’s impossible to dislike. Anyone who dislikes him is showing themselves up because he is such a character and bighearted person,” he told the publication.
Lembit believes Nigel, 59, will have no trouble with the tricky Bushtucker trials but will struggle going long periods of time without alcohol.

The MP has said he has been invited to take part in the show “several times” in the past but has declined.
Lembit took part in the 11th series of the Australia-based series and starred alongside a whole heap of entertaining celebrities, including Alison Hammond, Gillian McKeith, and Shaun Ryder.
He was the second celebrity to be eliminated and lost out to eventual Queen of the Jungle Stacey Solomon.
Nigel could be following in the footsteps of Matt Hancock, who ended up coming in third last series.
Other potential names that have been rumoured for the show are Frankie Dettori and Josie Gibson.
