Phillip Schofield makes crude joke about Viagra with This Morning’s Dr Chris

Phillip Schofield couldn't help but made a crude joke about "Viagra-style'" pills during Monday's edition of This Morning.

The 59-year-old presenter was back on our screens with Holly Willoughby after enjoying a half-term break last week.

They chatted to resident GP Dr Chris about new supplements being sold by retailer Marks & Spencer.

Phil even cheekily suggested about the 75-year-old doctor popping some of the pills himself.

Holly, 40, asked: "So next time you're at M&S and you're putting your Colin The Caterpillar and your Percy Pigs in your trolley, what else could you pick up?"

Dr Chris replied: "There's a headline saying M&S offer Viagra for home delivery. So I thought I have to look into this…"

He quickly added: "Not that I'm interested in Viagra – I'm purely interested in the science"

Phil quipped: "You won't be able to shut your front door!"

This prompted a some laughter from the This Morning crew, as well as from Dr Chris, who went on to explain it is not Viagra but a caffeine-based supplement designed to "give more energy in your sex life".

The doctor went on: However, it will not help with erectile dysfunction."

Not leaving the conversation end there, Phil asked whether it was blue, like Viagra, to which Dr Chris admitted he didn't know.

"Dr Chris' personal medical files starts today and we'll give you an update next week!" The ITV star joked.

The Mendurance supplements are available from M&S via delivery service Ocado.

Viewers art home rushed to their keyboards as the television stars discussed the Viagra.

Taking to Twitter, one cheeky fan penned: "bread, milk and a 6 pack of viagra."

Another added: "Dr Chris banging on about Viagra. Again. Even though it's not actually Viagra."

A third person posted: "M&S have turned into a Viagra delivery service" alongside a series of laughing face emojis.

While a fourth social media user joked: "It’s not just any viagra it’s M&S viagra."

Elsewhere in the show, Holly was left red-faced as she mistakenly thought there were 12 hours in a day, instead of 24.

Holly and Phillip were replaced by Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond last week as they enjoyed half-term break.

They returned to the show in style today arriving on electric scooters.

The City of London was last month announced by Transport for London as one of five boroughs where the electric-powered scooters could be hired from Monday under a 12-month Government-backed trial.

This Morning airs weekdays on ITV at 10am
