Rocky panics as Kathy Beale makes shock announcement in EastEnders | The Sun
KATHY Beale is ready to tie the knot with Rocky Cotton, despite their engagement being completely accidental.
But the former con man is shocked when his other half makes an announcement next week in EastEnders.
Alfie Moon, played by Shane Richie, decides to raid Big Mo's stash of wedding dresses in scenes due to air on BBC One.
With her upcoming nuptials in mind, Kathy (Gillian Taylforth) gets tempted to try on a dress at the wedding emporium and likes what she sees.
Later on, she tells her fiancé Rocky (Brian Conley) that she's got herself a dress for their wedding and she intends to set a date with Reverend Mills as soon as possible.
Kathy may be expecting Rocky to be thrilled but, instead, the latter is actually heavily rattled by her announcement.

Rocky is keeping many secrets from the Prince Albert owner, including how he has been making money with Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier).
When Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) is thrilled by Freddie's offer to treat her to a slap-up Mother's Day lunch at The Vic, Rocky grows more desperate to keep a lid on how they've been reeling in the cash.
But there's something else that Rocky would rather keep under wraps.
In late 2022, fans of the London-based soap were surprised but delighted when Rocky appeared to pop the question to an over-the-moon Kathy.

She immediately accepted, unable to wait for him to finish his sentence – and unaware that Rocky hadn't actually planned to propose to her.
As the pair began to plan their wedding, Rocky seemed preoccupied and turned to Mitch Baker (Roger Griffiths).
Rocky asked if a man was married to a woman, twenty-five years ago, but the couple hadn't seen each other since, could the marriage be "expired"?

Mitch responded by saying marriage couldn't simply run out and Rocky covered by claiming he was joking around with his friend – before seeming even more concerned than before.
Much of the character's past has been shrouded in mystery, but one of his biggest secrets will soon be coming to light, potentially leaving Kathy heartbroken.
Actress Vicki Michelle was recently spotted in Albert Square as it was confirmed she was cast as a brand new character named Jo… who is none other than Rocky's former wife.
How will it all play out?
EastEnders airs from Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on ITV.
