Spoilers: Gary left for dead in violent showdown with gangster Mick in Corrie

Gary Windass (Mikey North) is left in a bad way in Coronation Street tonight (October 16), as gangster Mick Chaney (Neil Bell) sets out to exact revenge.

Mick arrived on the cobbles earlier this week in an effort to track down Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce).

He ultimately did so at No. 11, when he called by to see Eileen (Sue Cleaver), only to discover that Todd was hiding upstairs.

The gangster took them both hostage, but ultimately decided that it was Todd who he wanted dead, but as he escorted him into the backyard, he was apprehended by Gary.

Yes, Gary hit him over the head, but Mick made clear that this war was far from over.

In tonight’s episode, Mick returns to the cobbles for yet another showdown, but it’s not Todd he’s after this time!

Yes, you guessed it: Gary is in trouble.

Mick believes the former loanshark is in cahoots with Todd, and therefore he pays him a little visit at the furniture store.

The gangster — and one of his sidekicks — threaten Gary, before making their getaway, but Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) later finds Gary battered and bleeding.

Will he be okay?

Coronation Street continues Friday October 16 at 7:30pm and 8:30pm on ITV.
