Spoilers: Gray kills Tina as she discovers he murdered Chantelle in EastEnders?
Tina Carter (Luisa Bradshaw-White) accused Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) of murdering Chantelle (Jessica Plummer) in a shocking EastEnders showdown tonight (December 26).
Tina has found herself under suspicion of attacking Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) after she confirmed that she had an altercation with the Queen Vic landlord on the day of his attack.
In spite of being innocent, her freedom is very much at stake, but with Gray having taking a dislike to her, he’s made things a lot more complicated.
Yes, Tina has started to suspect that Gray isn’t the man he appears to be, and such a thing has evidently left the solicitor rattled.
In tonight’s episode, Gray bumped into DCI Arthurs, who informed him that the witness who claimed Tina was at the Vic isn’t a credible one, and therefore, she will likely be released.
Gray was panicked, and therefore he fabricated a story about how Arthurs told him it’s likely that she’ll go to prison.
Shirley (Linda Henry) decided that Tina must run, and — with his marriage to Linda (Kellie Bright) on the rocks — Mick (Danny Dyer) decided to go with her.
Tina gathered her belongings together, but while she was out at the shops, she bumped into DCI Arthurs, who told her that the witness statement didn’t hold up.
Tina was shocked, and the realisation set in that Gray was lying to her.
Therefore, she returned to No.1, where she confronted the soclitor on the matter.
A heated showdown ensued, as Tina started to piece together what happened on the night of Chantelle’s death — using her own experience with Tosh to remind him that she knows all the signs of abuse.
As the episode came to a close, she yelled at Gray that he’d killed his wife — and he didn’t deny it.
Will Gray kill Tina to keep her quiet now that she knows the truth?
Or will Tina reveal her discovery to everyone?
EastEnders continues Monday December 28 at 8:05pm on BBC One.
