STRICTLY Come Dancing's Katya Jones has spoken about her row with dance partner Tony Adams captured at the end of last week's show.

Katya took to social media, writing: "THANK YOU for voting us through to week 8!! We are beyond grateful," adding "we hope you can see how hard we are trying! So if you want to see us dance another week, we will keep doing so trying our best!

"@tonyadamsofficial impresses me every day! I'm just loving every single day teaching him to dance, seeing his improvement and growth!"

Strictly’s Tony Adams breaks silence over row with partner Katya

After the dancing duo were spotted having a heated argument during Saturday's show, Tony Adams has finally addressed their on-screen row.

The spat reportedly came after Tony suffered some missed-steps and forgot some of his moves during their lively salsa performance.

Speaking to Good Morning Britian host, Susanna Reid, Adams said: "We always argue."

Katya then interjected as she joked: "We just don't like each other at all."

Tony continued: "Sometimes when I miss a step, she is over critical at times.

"I am here to have a good time."

He then suggested the pair should find a "balance" between him not forgetting the steps and being able to enjoy his time on the show.

Strictly viewers have demanded that the show "must change rules" after fans complained about Ellie's exit from the competition.

One fan moaned: "Must change rules. Fewer people watch meaning vote isn't fair. Leaving to "Great British public" is keeping in comedy act Tony Adams whereas the wonderful Ellie was voted off."

It comes as Tony Adams was spotted being given a firm "telling off" by his dance partner Katya Jones during the show.

Arsenal fans are voting to keep Tony Adams in the competition

As Adams and his professional dance partner Katya Jones head into week eight of the dancing competition, many have taken to social media to share their thoughts.

One viewer labelled Tony’s progress a “disgrace”, suggesting he only remains in the show because loyal Arsenal fans keep voting for their former captain.
