The Apprentice sparks bullying row as contestants reduced to tears in 'below the belt' interviews | The Sun

THE Apprentice has sparked a bullying row as contestants were reduced to tears in 'below the belt' interviews.

The hit BBC One business show is closely reaching its finale as the remaining candidates all faced a grilling from Lord Sugar's advisers.

It sees the candidates face tough questioning as their business plans are scrutinised.

Viewers watched as Claude Littner, Mike Soutar, Linda Plant and Karren Brady conducted the interviews.

However, viewers slammed vice-chairman of West Ham United Karren for 'bullying' the contestants.

Two female contestants were reduced to tears following the process.

During one scene, cafe owner Megan Hornby made the mistake of calling the businesswoman by her first name.

"It's Baroness Brady to you, my friends call me Karren," she snapped back.

It left fans uncomfortable at home and they took to social media to slam the business tycoon.

One wrote: "Can't believe I've just watched Karren Brady openly bully two people on TV on @bbcapprentice to tears."

"I don't think this will do Baroness Brady any favours, nobody likes a bully," said a third.
