The Chase fans are slamming the latest batch of contestants on the ITV after they rejected an opportunity to bag an insane amount of cash.
With four new players joining host Bradley Walsh to take on chaser Paul ‘The Sinnerman’ Sinha, two in particular had fans ar home fuming as they opted to choose smaller, safer winnings instead of near-record sums that could be “life-changing.” First up was player Dave, who impressed viewers by bagging £7,000 in his cash builder round.
He was then offered a staggering £70,000 by Paul, but rejected it and opted to “play it safe.” After losing players Sophie and Adam, it was Liz’s turn to take on the chaser where she also landed £7,000 in her cash builder.

Paul continued to offer up generous sums, presenting her with an opportunity to take home a whopping £93k. After consulting with Adam, who encouraged her to “Stick with the 7” she followed his lead – with the pair having rejected a total on £163k in potential winnings.
Fans slammed the players’ moves, dibbing them “cowards” and begging ITV to put players on who really want to “play the game.” “Someone should do a compilation video of how many times a contestant has said "I think I'm gonna stick with the *middle offer*". Surely it'd be hours long. Why not get real game players on?” said one fan.
Another penned: “ #TheChase needs a revamp, too many cowards taking middle or lower offers, entice them to go higher by offering an extra step in the final chase too.” “Aww he should've gone for the £70K. They could've been minted. He's clearly good enough for it,” added a third.
Liz was able to bring home her £7k, bringing the duos potential prize money to £14k. Despite an impressive star they pair only managed to land 14 questions correctly leaving them vulnerable.
