The Chase's Mark Labbett brutally blasts team as 'worst EVER' as he twists the knife after killer defeat

MARK Labbett blasted a team on The Chase as the "worst ever" after they missed out on one of the best cash builders in the show's history.

Bradley Walsh was almost adamant that he had a winning team on his hands during Thursday's outing of the ITV show – but things quickly went wrong.

Venturing onto the show, Rebecca, Aled, Lisa and Hussain took on The Beast and accumulated an impressive £26,000 between them.

With all four making it back to the final, Bradley was bowled over their performance – and even taunted the Chaser with how it was "zero" to him.

The host had high hopes for the contestants, as he praised: "A full house, and you very rarely see 26 grand there."

However, Brad's smile soon transferred from his face to Mark's when it got to the end of the final round.

The final saw the foursome manage to get only seven questions right, giving them a measly 11 question headstart.

Lost for words, Bradley simply said: "Wow, wow, wow, before affirming: "Bottom line, we are going to need pushbacks."

Laughing as he entered, Mark commented on how this would be an easy win for him.

After catching them within 52 seconds, Bradley said to the Chaser: "Wow. How does that happen?"

He replied: "Their luck ran out. I love my stats, and I'll leave you with two things.

"One of the best teams ever in the cash builders and the worst full house ever."
