One Piece: Iñaki Godoy stars in the trailer for Netflix series

Netflix will be releasing its live-action series of One Piece this week.

The show will be based on Japan’s highest-selling manga series in history by Eiichiro Oda.

One Piece has been written by Matt Owens and Steven Maeda, who also serve as executive producers on the show with Oda’s continued involvement.

What time is One Piece released on Netflix?

One Piece will be dropping very soon on Netflix with all eight episodes available to binge in one go.

The show will be available at exactly the same time around the world but this will vary depending on your time zone.

Netflix drops the majority of its Originals at midnight Pacific Standard Time as the streaming giant’s headquarters are in California which falls into this time zone.

For those on the Eastern Seaboard of America, One Piece will be arriving at 3am Eastern Standard Time.

The show will be released in the UK from 8am British Summer time on August 31.

This is 9am Central European Summer Time for those on the Continent.

For those in One Piece’s native Japan this will be 4pm on the day of release.

One Piece is an epic watch, boasting swashbuckling adventure and zany fantastical elements as it balances action with a sense of playfulness – much like the original manga.

The show has a cast of relative newcomers who lead the story, including Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji.

There will also be many guest cast members as the Straw Hat crew continue on their adventures to the Grand Line and their attempts to find the legendary treasure known as the One Piece.

Guest cast members to the series include Vincent Regan, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino, Morgan Davies, Aidan Scott, Langley Kirkwood, Jeff Ward, Celeste Loots, Alexander Maniatis, McKinley Belcher III, Craig Fairbrass, Steven Ward, and Chioma Umeala.
