THIS Morning viewers were left baffled today over the bizarre content of the show.

Fans said they were going to switch off after watching Alison Hammond pretend to run for Prime Minister, followed by a woman who is scattering her hamster’s ashes in Hawaii.

Taking to Twitter to question if they were in fact watching a spoof show, one person wrote:  “#ThisMorning is that bad even my mum has turned it off! Is it currently airing 'parody This morning?' embarrassing.”

A second asked: “Wtf is going on today.. #ThisMorning.”

While another questioned: “Blimey! Is this a spoof? #ThisMorning.”

And someone else wrote: “WHAT? #ThisMorning get this rubbish off TV @ITV.”

During the show Alison Hammond surprised viewers as she revealed her manifesto to run for PM.

One of her points was that everyone would be given a piece of land and that one day a week would be declared ‘duvet day’.
