THIS Morning's Alison Hammond was forced to apologise after a guest swore live on air today.

Friday's instalment of the ITV show saw Alison and co-star Dermot O'Leary celebrate St Patrick's Day.

During one segment, the world's last leprechaun whisperer, Kevin Woods, took to the sofa to chat about his life.

Kevin is the only living person who can communicate who can communicate with Ireland's magical residents.

He had a leprechaun in his bag and said that he was going to show them it.

As Kevin knelt down to the table to release the leprechaun from his bag, he asked the pair to put their arms around the table to make sure that the leprechaun couldn't escape.

When he opened the bag there was just hay and a brown bag on the table – meaning nothing was there.

A disappointed Alison said: "Oh no!"

Kevin added: "Oh for god's sake, the wee fecker!"

At the end of the instalment Alison had to apologise to viewers for his language.

She said: "I just want to say apologies if there was any bad language whatsoever."

Viewers at home found it hilarious.

One said on Twitter: "Did he just say the wee fecker," with lots of laughing emojis.

Another added: "The wee fe**erDermot's face!!!"

"The wee fecker I'm Dead. Very dead," a third chimed in.

"The wee fecker" I can't cope," a fourth tweeted.
