Tom Parkers widow Kelsey Parker back on the dating scene after singers death

Tom Parker's widow Kelsey Parker has admitted that she might be about to head back on the dating scene.

The actress was welcomed onto Friday's edition (September 29) of Loose Women by Kaye Adams, Sunetra Sarker, Jane Moore and Nadia Sawalha to promote her new book. She's written a memoir titled Kelsey Parker: With And Without You, where she reflects on a year without The Wanted singer.

Kelsey, 31, tied the knot with Tom in 2018 in what she thought was her forever match, but it wasn't to be as he sadly died of complications from glioblastoma in March of 2022. But now it seems his actress wife might be ready to get back on the horse as she admitted that she "deserves happiness".

Speaking to the panel, she reflected on the tough decision to write the book as she explained: "This has been the hardest thing I've done. I can't read the book without crying. It's a real realisation that this has been my life for the last three years.

"Now it's my kids and now I move forward and [it's like] how do I get through this? and how do I live my life now without the love of my life? Kaye, 60, reminded the media personality that at the age of 31, she still has the rest of her life ahead of her, and Kelsey admitted she has a plan to move forward."

She confirmed: "This is the thing, I wrote this book, and I wanted the fairytale with Tom. I wanted the fairy tale happy ending, but that didn't happen for me. How now so I move forward with my life? I put Tom first, I put the children first, and I just feel like now that I need a bit of happiness."

Nadia interjected as she said that it was time for her to "fly", whilst Jane commented that she even started a new relationship with another man. And Kelsey confirmed that she did not find it easily. "That's not plain sailing, either," she confirmed.

"Because it's really hard. We're trying a new relationship and I am grieving someone, and it's really, really hard for both of us, but you know what, I'm really really happy and I deserve a little bit of happiness" However she is determined to remember her late husband and makes sure that despite their loss, he is still very present for their kids, to the point that they struggle to understand he is no longer physically with them.

She explained: "Do you know what, he's so present in our house. Like there's still all the pictures from our wedding, Tom's everywhere in our house. For them it's constant, like this morning, I did a little video of her and she said, 'Can you text that to Daddy?'.

"We're always talking about Daddy and [I say] 'Mommy can't do that. Daddy's watching you, he can see that, he can see you're singing and dancing, but I can't actually send that video to daddy'."

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV
