Tyson Fury explains reason for missing birth of seventh child
Tyson Fury admits ‘bills have to be paid’ after missing birth
Tyson Fury revealed “bills have to be paid” after he wasn’t present for the birth of his youngest child, Rico.
The little boy was the seventh child to join the Fury family as Tyson and his wife Paris already have six children, Venezuela, Prince John James, Prince ‘Tutty’ Tyson Fury II, Valencia Amber, Prince Adonis Amaziah and Athena.
However, with Paris going into labour at the end of September, the 35-year-old missed the latest addition to his family due to training for his upcoming fight.
During Friday’s instalment of Good Morning Britain, the boxer spoke to hosts Kate Garraway and Adil Ray about the sacrifices he’s had to make.
Kate commented: “As you say, you have been training for this very hard, to the point when you even missed the birth of your seventh child, that must’ve been a blow?”

He replied: “Yes, that’s correct but Daddy’s gotta do what Daddy’s gotta do, you know.
“Bills have to be paid, things have to be sacrificed. Paris understands that when I am in camp, I can’t be there or at the hospital.
“But, I got to see him in the early hours of the morning when he was born, so that’s all fantastic.”
Tyson told the two hosts that he managed to see his son, who they’ve called Prince Rico Paris, shortly after he arrived into the world.

On Saturday night, Tyson will be fighting against Ex-UFC fighter Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia.
As Kate questioned if he believed the fight would be an easy win as Ngannou isn’t necessarily a proper boxer, Tyson disagreed.
He replied: “I am not so sure about easy, have you seen the shape of the guy?!
“Six foot five and 19 stone of solid muscle, he’s an absolute knockout artist, so I am not taking him very lightly.
“I have trained really hard, I have put twelve weeks in camp and I am ready for battle.”
During Tyson’s fights, he’s often shirtless as he told the ITV hosts he’ll continue to embrace his love handles.
He added: “The love handles are what makes me unique, it makes me a unique fighter to have them.
“I represent all the fat people around the world, all the Dad bods, all the chubsters, I fight for those people tonight!”
Good Morning Britain continues weekdays on ITV from 6am.
