US ROCK legends have been forced to postpone their tour on doctor’s order.
Aerosmith have postponed six of their Peace Out: The Farewell Tour dates amid the lead singer’s health battle.
The group shared on Instagram that their shows in Toronto, Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Raleigh and Washington D.C. were having to be postponed.
The dates take place from September 12 through to September 27, but they’ve been pushed back to early 2024 instead.

“I’m heartbroken to say I have received strict doctor’s orders not to sing for the next thirty days.

“I sustained vocal cord damage during Saturday’s show that led to subsequent bleeding. We’ll need to postpone a few dates so that we can come back and give you the performance you deserve.”
The group added: “All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates. Refunds will be available for those unable to attend.
“Fans with questions regarding refunds are asked to reach out to their point of purchase.”
Aerosmith headed into retirement with their farewell tour this year.

Announcing the tour, the group said that they will embark on a 40-date North American tour with The Black Crowes as special guests.
“It’s not goodbye it’s PEACE OUT!,” Aerosmith said in a joint statement. “Get ready and walk this way, you’re going to get the best show of our lives.”
It’s not the first time they’ve had to postpone a tour.
Aerosmith was set to begin their Park MGM's Las Vegas residency in June 2022.
But due to Tyler's absence from the band at the time, the group officially announced that they have canceled the dates for June and July of the shows.
Tyler had reportedly "worked on his sobriety for many years" but relapsed, according to a tweet from the band at the time of their 2022 cancellation.
The Twitter statement read: "As many of you know, our beloved brother Steven has worked on his sobriety for many years.
"After foot surgery to prepare for the stage and the necessity of pain management during the process, he has recently relapsed and voluntarily entered a treatment program to concentrate on his health and recovery."
Aerosmith has performed on some of the biggest stages throughout their 50-year career.
The group has gone on 10 world tours and has sold more than 150 million records worldwide.
Aerosmith was inducted into the Rock ‘N Roll Hall of Fame in 2001.
The band has six American Music Awards and ten MTV Video Music Awards.

In 2013, Tyler and Perry were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Aerosmith has performed at the Super Bowl Half-Time Show and even has a ride in Disney World Florida and Disneyland Paris focused around them.
