IT'S FAIR to say that us Brits love the annual Comic Relief telethon.

It started back in 1988, and every year raises millions of pounds for charity during an evening of fun and entertainment.

What time is Comic Relief 2023 on BBC One

Red Nose Day 2023 is finally upon us (March 17, 2023) and the Comic Relief TV special will begin airing at 7pm TONIGHT on BBC One.

The action moves to BBC Two at 10pm, when it breaks for the News At Ten.

It will return to BBC One at 10.40pm, and continue until 11.50pm.

As usual it will be jam packed with TV specials and musical performances.

The epic fundraiser will entertain the nation with hilarious sketches, live performances, and big surprises, all in the name of charity.

Money raised throughout the night will go to good causes at home and across the world.

Donations can be made to online through their website or through purchasing a Comic Relief red nose, either online, through Amazon, or in stores such as Argos and Sainsbury's.

Which celebrities are taking part in Comic Relief 2023?

Comic Relief regular Sir Lenny Henry will once again be the main host of the show.

Which BBC shows will feature in Comic Relief?

Fans can't wait to see Blackadder return for a one off comedy sketch.

Popular comedy show Ghosts will be featured in a special sketch with Kylie Minogue.

French and Saunders will join Claudia Winkleman and Mary Berry in a parody of The Traitors.

Fans will get to see a group of celebrities "auditioning" for a spoof Eurovision Song Contest.

In a change from the sketches just being about BBC shows, a Love Island special will also take place.
