In the opening of the documentary, Chris said: “I’ve reached a fork in the road. For years I’ve been a peaceful activist but none of it has worked. Perhaps I have to take another route.”<\/p>\n
Although he didn\u2019t break the law within the documentary, Chris met a string of activists who believed that mass civil disobedience was essential to force change.<\/p>\n
However, it seemed as though many viewers were left outraged by the documentary with 267 taking action by complaining to Ofcom.<\/p>\n
On the night, people shared their thoughts on social media with @JezzaG25 commenting: \u201cHe’s telling people it’s ok to break the law #ChrisPackhamC4 #ChrisPackham should be locked up for scare-mongering and encouraging illegal activity as should @Channel4 for allowing him a platform #climatescam #ClimateCrisis-mya**e.\u201d<\/p>\n

Not sure of next steps though.\u201d<\/p>\n Ahead of the episode airing, Chris came to blows with Good Morning Britain\u2019s Richard Madeley\u00a0.<\/p>\n He fumed: \u201cWhat gives you the right to say that you have the overview, that gives the authority to say, \u2018You can do this, you have my support, break the law?’<\/p>\n Chris replied: \u201cI have no right and no overview, nor do I profess to have it.<\/p>\n \u201cI merely ask the question, is this the right time for us to break the law? As you\u2019ve pointed out, climate protestors are already breaking the law.\u201d<\/p>\n
