{"id":439628,"date":"2023-10-24T14:43:47","date_gmt":"2023-10-24T14:43:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/totalcelnews.com\/?p=439628"},"modified":"2023-10-24T14:43:47","modified_gmt":"2023-10-24T14:43:47","slug":"bodies-creator-reveals-future-of-show-as-stephen-graham-thriller-tops-netflix-charts-the-sun","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/totalcelnews.com\/tv-movies\/bodies-creator-reveals-future-of-show-as-stephen-graham-thriller-tops-netflix-charts-the-sun\/","title":{"rendered":"Bodies creator reveals future of show as Stephen Graham thriller tops Netflix charts | The Sun"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>STEPHEN Graham has opened up about the future of his new show Bodies, which has recently premiered on Netflix.<\/p>\n<p>The crime drama with an A-list cast has amassed a lot of fans since it came out on the streaming platform.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/shira-haas-ds-maplewood-see-851160363.jpg\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/picture-used-accompany-pa-feature-851160475-1.jpg\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/picture-used-accompany-pa-feature-851160479-1.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>But show creator Paul Tomalin has revealed that he has no plans to renew the series for a second season.<\/p>\n<p>He told Hello magazine that in his original pitch to Netflix the plot only extended for eight episodes, and it was important for him to wrap the series up without any cliff-hangers.<\/p>\n<p>The screenwriter said: &quot;We went to Netflix like, &#x27;This is one series, this is a one and done, we wanna close this off&#x27;, because I think when you have such an amazing concept up front, you f*** your audience off if you don&#x27;t solve it.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;As the viewer, I hate it when you get this amazing thing.
