{"id":441710,"date":"2023-11-04T00:15:38","date_gmt":"2023-11-04T00:15:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/totalcelnews.com\/?p=441710"},"modified":"2023-11-04T00:15:38","modified_gmt":"2023-11-04T00:15:38","slug":"jealous-robbie-williams-vengeful-towards-gary-barlow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/totalcelnews.com\/celebrities\/jealous-robbie-williams-vengeful-towards-gary-barlow\/","title":{"rendered":"Jealous Robbie Williams&#8217; &#8216;vengeful&#8217; towards Gary Barlow"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Robbie Williams: Netflix documentary trailer<\/h3>\n<p>Robbie Williams has opened up about his feelings towards ex-bandmate Gary Barlow.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In his new self-titled Netflix documentary, Robbie, 49, opens up about the decade-long rivalry between the pair describing how he &#8220;wanted to make him pay&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The four-part docuseries will take an in-depth look at the singer&#8217;s life and chart his rise to fame as well as his battles with depression and addiction.<\/p>\n<p>During the show, Robbie is seen watching hours of archive video footage, and one scene shows his ten year old daughter Theodora Rose, otherwise known as Teddy, asking her dad: &#8220;Who did you hate the most [in the band] and why?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>An emotional Robbie then responded: \u201cI disliked Gary the most because he was the one that was supposed to have everything and the career.\u201d<\/p>\n<p> <strong> Don&#8217;t miss&#8230; <\/strong> <strong>BBC teases first look at Quentin Blake\u2019s Box of Treasures animated specials[LATEST] <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.images.express.co.uk\/img\/dynamic\/79\/590x\/secondary\/Robbie-williams-life-netflix-5046090.jpg?r=1699021274797\"><\/p>\n<p>The singer then went on to admit: \u201cAnd I wanted to make him pay. I was vengeful. By having the career that he was supposed to have.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Robbie famously fell out with his Take That bandmates when they asked him to leave the group after he ditched tour rehearsals to go partying at Glastonbury.<\/p>\n<p>The friction between the group members ultimately resulted in Robbie leaving the band in 1995 just as Take That were about to embark on their Nobody Else world tour. As a young person I would&#8217;ve been jealous of that. I suppose a lot of me resented him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Robbie and Gary put their feud to bed when they got together to write and record the hit song Shame, which featured on Robbie\u2019s 2010 album In and Out of Consciousness.<\/p>\n<p>Robbie also made up with the rest of his bandmates and rejoined the group for their Progress album and tour.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at a pop-up event to promote his new Netflix series, Robbie was interviewed by Smooth Radio where he was asked if the members of Take That had seen his new documentary.<\/p>\n<p>He replied: &#8220;I love my boys. They haven&#8217;t seen it.
