Since the release of her breakout single “Don’t Play with It” in 2021, the music space has had its eyes on Lola Brooke as one of the next-up woman rappers \u2013 hailing from none other than Brooklyn, New York. Now the Bed-Stuy native has officially dropped her debut project Dennis Daughter<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Over the past few years, Lola Brooke has been heating up \u2013 performing at festival stages alongside dropping a roster of collaborative tracks. But with Dennis Daughter,\u00a0<\/em>fans are finally getting a closer look at the rapper’s talent and the sound she’s building. With 12 tracks lining the project, Dennis Daughter\u00a0<\/em>features the likes of Coi Leray, Nija, French Montana, Bryson Tiller, Latto and Yung Miami.<\/p>\n

Aside from the previously released “Don’t Play with It” remix featuring Latto and Yung Miami and “You” featuring Bryson Tiller, the rest of the tracks are entirely new and pack a robustly New York rap sound. Just take a listen to “It’s Me Again” and you’ll see. Alongside the release of the project, Lola Brooke has also dropped a music video for “Don’t Get Me Started” with Coi Leray and Nija.
