Chocolate is one of the best gifts to give anyone around Christmas. <\/p>\n
Whether it's Quality Street or Celebrations, it's acceptable to gorge on some choc all day long. Now as the festive season is upon us, the UK's favourite chocolate has been revealed.<\/p>\n
Between the firm favourites owned by Cadbury or Nestle, there are so many festive sweet tins to choose from. So which one would you say is your favourite?<\/p>\n

To find the answer, myvouchercodes.co.uk surveyed 2,000 people \u2013 and the results might just surprise you! According to the study, 21% of respondents voted Celebrations.<\/p>\n

Despite being sold since 1963, Quality Street narrowly missed out on the top spot with one-fifth of shoppers choosing it as their most loved chocolate.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile in third and fourth place, Cadbury's Heroes and Roses brought in 20% and 15% of the votes, respectively. The survey also found a small number of respondents who picked other non-traditional options.<\/p>\n
This includes Swiss chocolate Lindt, as well as Thorntons and Hotel Chocolat. Our favourite chocolates reportedly differ depending on our gender and age.<\/p>\n
In the research, men typically favoured Quality Street, while women preferred Celebrations. Taste also tends to vary by generation too.<\/p>\n

The study found an older demographic to enjoy Quality Street, while Gen X, baby boomers and the silent generation all voted the Nestle-produced treat as their favourite.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile Gen Z and millennials both voted Celebrations as their favourite tub, with Heroes coming in second.<\/p>\n
Sarah-Jane Outten, savings expert from MyVoucherCodes, said: "Whatever your chocolate preferences are, if you're looking to stock up on sweet treats for the family, or are just doing your usual pre-Christmas food shop, don't forget to look for money-saving deals online.<\/p>\n
"Always check for vouchers or discount codes for your favourite retailers, so that you can sort your Christmas shopping for less this year."<\/p>\n
