It&#8217;s been a tough year for everyone. Please take this and have a great Christmas.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Buy that extra gift, order that extra good, treat that extra person or just yourself. The world is a better place with you in it.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>It continued: &#8216;The only thing I ask is&#8230; if or when you can afford it, please pay the gesture forward. Or when the opportunity arises offer a kind gesture. Merry Christmas.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/19\/19\/79141413-12881431-image-a-54_1703013767135.jpg\" height=\"475\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>People visiting Nottingham city centre may be in for an extra Christmas surprise thanks to an incredibly generous individual. Pictured, the city&#8217;s Winter Wonderland<\/p>\n<p>The woman, who didn&#8217;t want to be identified, told Nottinghamshire Live after she received the envelope she just &#8216;stood in shock&#8217;.\u00a0The woman would now like to find the person responsible and say thank you.<\/p>\n<p>She added: &#8216;I tried to find the lady to thank her but she appeared to see me coming and dashed off.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>She went on to say how grateful she was, and that the act of kindness left her &#8216;a little tearful&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;You see these things online but don&#8217;t expect them to happen to you on a random Christmassy afternoon out with your kids. It&#8217;s such a kind gesture.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>It comes after another\u00a0<span>unnamed woman from Merseyside was at the checkout of a B&amp;M store in Everton when she received a wad of cash from another shopper who didn&#8217;t reveal their identity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The woman, who had visited the discount shop on Great Homer Street, realised when she reached the checkout that she couldn&#8217;t afford to pay for all the items in her trolley and asked staff if they could scan the items until the shop reached the total she could afford.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/19\/19\/79141489-12881431-image-m-56_1703013927175.jpg\" height=\"291\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>On Friday, December 15, a woman was handed an envelope containing a note (pictured) and \u00a3100 cash in a kind gesture while she was visiting the Winter Wonderland<\/p>\n<p>However, a very generous stranger who overheard the shopper&#8217;s plight came to her rescue and dropped a wad of cash into the trolley &#8211; leaving the woman in tears.<\/p>\n<p>A B&amp;M worker told the Liverpool Echo: &#8216;As she was sorting out her shopping, an older male waiting behind her walked up to her.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;[He] simply said &#8220;Merry\u00a0Christmas&#8221; and dropped what looked to be a large wad of money on her shopping in her trolley and walked out without saying anything else.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The woman stood there for a minute or so crying saying she couldn&#8217;t believe it&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>The member of staff hoped the act of kindness, which they referred to as a &#8216;nice Christmas gesture&#8217;
