50 Cent declares grandma coolest person at the show during concert
50 Cent’s UK tour got an unexpected moment of sheer wholesomeness at his second Birmingham concert on Tuesday night.
Following the US rapper’s gig at the Resorts World Arena, a rap-loving grandmother went viral on X as she stood at the edge of the railing on the venue’s balcony, bopping to the beat with her hands in the air for the entire show.
One clip captured her sheer delight with a mile-wide grin plastered across her face during Ayo Technology at a peak in the chorus when the sound system went silent to hear the thousands of fans chanting “Yeah!”.
In a crowd of 15,000, the silver-haired concertgoer stood out for all the right reasons and even the In Da Club hitmaker took notice.
The 48-year-old, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, gave the dedicated fan a special shoutout on X, giving the Birmingham senior a new title of “coolest person at my show tonight by far” for how “she was rocking wit me”.
While thousands of others missed out on the title, none seemed to mind as fans applauded the grandmother in the comments section, saying: “That’s not grandma that’s G-MA.”
Another added: “Granny living her naughty 40s era again lol.”
A third declared: “Grandma knows good music… comes with experience I guess…”
Some questioned if the now beloved fan even knew that she had gone viral, while all a spokesperson for the venue could tell the Metro was that her name is Jane.

Granny Jane’s influence has even seemingly changed 50’s post-concert habits, as he showcased another wholesome fan after his Manchester concert on Wednesday night.
The Power producer shared a clip from the show of a fan on the different side of the hill as a young boy stood at the balcony railings in baggy jeans and an oversized sweatshirt with big chunky sunglasses.
He passionately rapped every word along with 50 Cent, enthusiastically throwing in some smooth dance moves and turning to a woman, who seemed to be his mother, who was recording the epic moment from her seat.
