BBC Breakfast star Naga Munchetty fires back at fans over savage outfit jibes

BBC Breakfast: Naga and Charlie open the show

BBC Breakfast presenter Naga Munchetty demonstrated her great sense of humour days as she responded to her Twitter followers after they aimed cheeky swipes at her outfit.

The 48-year-old star appeared on the BBC chat show for the first time this week with co-star Charlie Stayt in a rather eye-catching ensemble.

Naga wore a bright blue shirt featuring one sleeve that was green up to the elbow and a white circular panel on the opposite shoulder.

The skirt part of her look was a matching blue with a similarly asymmetrical green and white pattern.

While some fans marvelled at Naga’s bold look, others jokingly compared it to something a jockey might wear on the race course.

“Naga Munchetty riding in the 9:30 at Aintree straight after BBC Breakfast, so clearly not worth going home to get changed first,” Jonathan quipped on X (Twitter).

While Mike asked: “Is Naga going horse jumping? What is she wearing.”

Anton then tweeted Naga directly, writing: “Are you riding the 10:30 at Kempton today @TVNaga01”.
