Kai Widdrington wishes all three Strictly finalists ‘all the luck in the world’
Strictly Come Dancing star Kai Widdrington has announced that he has become the British Dancesport Association’s Director of Engagement and Education. The BBC pro, 28, shared with his 239,000 Instagram followers the huge career change hours before the final writing: “Delighted to be part of the future of British Ballroom and Latin dancing”.
The ballroom dancer was partnered with Angela Rippon. They took the competition by storm but were eliminated in Blackpool Week.
Away from the show it appears he has been busy after bagging himself a new job. He re-shared a photo of the press release confirming his role on his social media account.
The professional wrote: “Good morning everyone. It’s been a long time since I’ve done one of these. I just want to say thank you everyone for all the support throughout the season, it’s coming to an end today, it’s the Strictly final and I want to wish all the luck in the world to all three finalists.
“Firstly, to the pros who have done a fantastic job with each of their partners this season and of course to Bobby, Layton and Ellie. All deserved winners in my opinion”. He deemed all the contestants winners in his eyes, as he wished them the best of luck.

“I think they’re going to be absolutely fantastic tonight, I’ve heard the dances are unbelievable and definitely worth tuning in tonight.
“So enjoy at home and enjoy the final”.
Kai is set to return to our screens alongside Angela, 79, for their last dance of the series.

The couples will perform three dance routines: one selected by the judges, one chosen by the couple themselves and a third showdance.
The judges will be giving their usual constructive feedback but it will be down to the public vote.
Corrie star Ellie, 22, is a firm favourite with odds at the 1/8.
Betfred showbiz specialist, Kayley Cornelius said: “With 1/8 odds, punters now think Ellie Leach and dance partner Vito Coppola are unstoppable,”
“Week after week the pair never fail to impress the judges and viewers at home.
The show will be jam packed with a star-studded line up of entertainment.
Singer Cher is set to sing during the live show.
Strictly Come Dancing: The Final starts at 7pm, on BBC One and BBC iplayer.
