Bobby shares a close bond with his TV presenter father, Jeff, who was seen on Saturday night's Strictly making Bobby dinner ahead of his latest performance on the show.

Doting dad Jeff has even been making packed lunches for Bobby and his partner, Dianne, to keep them fuelled during their gruelling training for the live shows on Saturdays.

He was due to appear on Good Morning Britain this week, however, he had to say sorry as he joined the show via video call from the back of a car after oversleeping. He said: "'I'm sorry, guys. Forgive me."

Bobby then made everyone laugh when he jokingly blamed Dianne for his tardiness. He said: "You didn't call me this morning. Usually she calls me."

Dianne responded by saying: "I do have to call him in the morning just to make sure he's out of bed and getting ready for his car. I was too busy getting myself out of bed this morning."
