Bruce Springsteen Postpones September Shows Due To Peptic Ulcer Disease Symptoms
Bruce Springsteen has announced that he and The E Street Band have postponed all performances currently scheduled for September, as he is being treated for symptoms of peptic ulcer disease.
Springsteen added that the decision to postpone the remainder of the September shows was based on medical advise.
“Over here on E Street, we’re heartbroken to have to postpone these shows,” Springsteen said in a statement. “First, apologies to our fabulous Philly fans who we missed a few weeks ago. We’ll be back to pick these shows up and then some.”
“Thank you for your understanding and support,” he added. “We’ve been having a blast at our U.S. shows and we’re looking forward to more great times. We’ll be back soon.”
Ticketholders will receive information regarding rescheduled dates for the postponed shows.
As per the decision, Thursday’s show at the JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse, New York, was cancelled.
Including that, eight concerts remain this month as part of Springsteen and The E Street Band Tour 2023.
