Carol Vorderman speaks out as stars attend memorial for Paul OGrady
A star-studded memorial was held on Wednesday to celebrate the life and career of Paul O’Grady.
Some of the biggest UK stars attended an emotional memorial for Paul O’Grady on Wednesday night. Held in London’s West End, the evening celebrated the late comedian’s life and career.
Among attendees were Carol Vorderman, Amanda Holden, Julian Clary, Alan Carr, Janet Street-Porter, former Labour leader Ed Miliband and Tony Blair’s wife Cherie.
Taking to Instagram following the memorial, Carol said it had been a “wonderful” night and shared how much Paul is missed by his friends.
She wrote: “We all went to our Paul O’Grady’s memorial service tonight. It was a wonderful way to celebrate a genuinely unique man who all of us, whether you’d met him or not, loved. God he’s truly missed.”
Paul died in March this year and it was later confirmed that the cause was sudden cardiac arrhythmia.
Amanda Holden opted for a blue velvet suit as she celebrated her friend Paul O’Grady at his memorial.
Carol Vorderman wore a black jumpsuit and boots as she joined her famous friends in London’s West End.

Julian Clary, who gave a eulogy at Paul O’Grady’s funeral, arrived in an eye-catching purple suit with a bright yellow tie.
