Coleen Rooney is set to spill details about her well-documented up-and-down marriage to Wayne Rooney in her new book, but he reportedly has “mixed feelings” about it.
The mum-of-four has said her memoir titled My Account “is an opportunity to tell my story in my way, from beginning to end. My highs and lows, triumphs and sad moments – and a few good laughs between the lines”.
Coleen, 37, will dive into details about her relationship with husband Wayne, 37, which has hit the headlines many times over the years due to his infidelities.
A source has now said: “They’re in a good place now and it’s widely known they have been through a difficult time in the past.
“Their marriage has been under immense strain even in recent times, but they have come out stronger.”

They added Wayne would “rather leave” mentions of his well-known infidelities in the past, as it “leads to lots of unkind comments”.
“This book will obviously bring back bad memories and open up old wounds, and Wayne isn’t keen on more marriage bombshells being talked about,” the source continued to OK! Magazine.
“It’s all out there. Wayne and Coleen’s marriage has been fraught with drama – the prostitutes, the cheating, the drunken mistakes. Wayne isn’t keen on those revelations being talked out again, and those close to Coleen worry about this all being brought up once more.”
Express.co.uk has contacted a representative for Wayne for comment.
It’s not the first time Coleen has addressed the pair’s 15-year marriage which she recently called “a battle at times”.

The WAG broke her silence on her high profile ‘Wagatha Christie’ court case against Rebekah Vardy last month and also touched upon Wayne’s infidelities.
She told Vogue Magazine: “We’ve never backed away from it.
“We own it. I remember having a conversation about this with someone and I said, ‘Well, do you know what your wife gets up to every day and night? At least I know what my husband’s doing!’
“It mightn’t be good, but I know. People lie to themselves.”
The footballer, alongside Coleen, addressed his wrongdoing in Amazon documentary Rooney, released last year.
In the film, Wayne said he “deeply” regretted cheating on Coleen, and at the time, “put myself in the wrong place”.
He added: “And when you’re in the wrong place and there’s alcohol, then you’re going to make bad decisions.
“And you’re going to have to suffer and deal with the consequences. That’s what happens.
“It doesn’t take away any of my love for Coleen,” he added.
Wayne’s wife also spoke in the documentary saying she had to “live” with his mistakes but insisted they still loved each other.
The couple got together when they were just 16 and tied the knot in 2008.
They share four sons: Kai, 13, Klay, 10, Kit, seven, and Cass, five.
My Account: The Autobiography will be released on November 9.
