Doja Cat leaves nothing to the imagination as she goes braless in sheer number

Doja Cat, 27, was sure to turn heads as she made an appearance at Jean Paul Gaultier’s SSENSE NYFW party at The Ned NoMad Hotel.

The singer went braless under a tiny sheer halter neck, showing off her plunging assets, and paired this with low-slung trousers.

She accessorized with layers of silver necklaces, large silver dangly earrings, as well as dark sunglasses.

Known for her wild makeup, the singer opted for a more simple palette including a glossy lip and a thick white eyeshadow.

Doja posed for a series of photos alongside fellow rapper Ice Spice at the prestigious event.

This outing comes as Doja decided to speak out against trolls after losing loads of followers on her Instagram platform.

Doja then hit back: “Seeing all these people unfollow makes me feel like I’ve defeated a large beast that’s been holding me down for so long and it feels like I can reconnect with the people who really matter and love me for who I am and not for who I was.”

The singer also recently acknowledged the intense backlash she receives due to her fashion choices.

In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Doja admitted she believes she gets backlash over her outfits because some fans feel a sense of “ownership” over her.

She explained: “There is a shock response that is almost uncontrollable.

“I’ve accepted that that’s what happens. So I put my wigs on and take them off. I shave my head or my eyebrows. I have all the freedom in the world.”

Doja also shared why she thinks she goes so out there with what she wears, claiming it’s part of her journey for self-discovery.

She continued: “It’s like mashed potatoes. But I’m embracing that. It’s a little punk. It’s experimental for sure. It’s very manic. But I am going in a darker direction when it comes to visuals and fashion.

“I have a lot of pent-up feelings and anger, and I want to express it with beauty. I’ve been playing with a lot of prosthetics lately.”

Earlier this year the pop star wore prosthetics to the 2023 Met Gala honoring the late Karl Lagerfeld.

Her makeup artists used prosthetics to make her into a “humanoid cat”, as a nod to late designer, Choupette.

Doja Cat also reflected on how her style experimentation has come at a time when she feels more grounded, as part of her overall journey of “learning to love” herself more.
