Girls Alouds Kimberley Walsh unveils Christmas doorway of dreams with purple front door
Kimberley Walsh left fans in awe of her lavish Christmas decorations as she showed off the colourful front door of her million-pound Surrey mansion.
The Girls Aloud star, 42, repainted her front door purple earlier this year, and has now further decorated her home ahead of Christmas, with her door now featuring a full-sized snowman and two huge wreaths.
Sharing some snaps on Instagram, Kimberley wrote: "Doorway of dreams…
"I think this is my fave so far. This year @earlyhoursltd have launched their Doorways of Hope initiative and are donating the money for this installation to @savechildrenuk which is just lovely [smiling emoji]."
"Well done team this is an absolute beauty," she continued.
Fans were quick to comment on the festive display, with one writing: "Stunning but more importantly I love the fact every installation gives money to such a good cause."
"It’s barely been up a week and my little boy obsessed with driving past the snowman house" added another.
While a third penned: "Absolutely beautiful".
It comes after Kimberley and her fellow Girls Aloud bandmates delighted fans after announcing they will be going on tour across the UK and Ireland – two years after bandmate Sarah Harding tragically passed away.
Kimberley, Cheryl, Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts later appeared on Zoe Ball's Radio Two show where they opened up about the reunion, which is being done in honour of Sarah.
When asked how long they've been keeping the secret, Nicola replied: "Months and months, we didn't tell our family and friends, our families didn't know."
To which Nadine added: "When we put out the teaser, we've been ignoring people all week." And Kimberley quipped: "We've been ignoring people on the school run."
The band announced their reunion tour on Instagram on Wednesday 22 November, as they wrote: "We’re so excited to announce that we will be touring the UK & Ireland in May and June 2024.
"A celebration of Sarah, our music and our incredible fans. We can’t wait to sing and dance with you all once again. – Cheryl, Kimberley, Nadine & Nicola."
Speaking to British Vogue about the exciting news, Kimberley explained that they’re determined to give late bandmate Sarah, who tragically died aged 39 after being diagnosed with breast cancer, her time to shine on the tour.
“I think we channelled our grief into all the fundraising we did for The Sarah Harding Breast Cancer Appeal and that helped us a lot. And as tough as it will be, we want to give Sarah her moment on this tour. We need it. The fans need it. She needs it,” she said.
