Good Morning Britains Charlotte Hawkins transforms into sexy Cruella De Vil
Good Morning Britain’s Charlotte Hawkins made herself a dead ringer for Cruella De Vil of 101 Dalmatians on Instagram today – were it not for her much more innocent-looking face.
Like the cartoon character, she sported hair that was black on one side and white-blonde on the other, and accessorised a little black dress with red, elbow-length gloves and a furry black and white coat.
Fortunately, as 48-year-old Charlotte is just using Cruella’s look – and not her villainous personality – the coat wasn’t made from the fur of Dalmatian dogs.
Sitting by a laptop in what looked like a busy call centre, the presenter joked to her 259,000 followers: “Just an average day at the office…”
The Classic FM star announced that she was “helping out at @globals_make_some_noise day by taking donations that will help smaller charities up & down the country with vital work”.

She added: “It’s a day like no other.. you never know who you’ll bump into! I’m channeling my best Cruella de Vil as the @classicfm theme was famous villains.”
Charlotte was also at pains to clarify that she was wearing “fake fur… definitely no dalmatians or any other animals harmed!”
Her new demeanour was miles apart from the honey blonde locks that she usually sports, leading one confused Instagrammer to joke: “Hold on, that’s not you is it? Wow!”
Charlotte displayed the same look at the Global event and fellow radio show host Sophie Ellis-Bextor, formerly a singer-songwriter, stopped by her page to exclaim: “Amazing!”

Sophie had recently invited Charlotte on her podcast show Spinning Plates, and a joint post about their chat earlier this week made for interesting reading.
“@charlottehawkins1 presents @gmb where she proudly helps set the news agenda for the day and quizzes the people in power on the TV viewer’s behalf. She also has a lifelong love of music and presents a show on @classicfm,” Sophie began.
She added that Charlotte had opened up on the podcast about how she and her husband were on the brink of starting IVF after various failed attempts to have a baby, before suddenly surprising herself and becoming pregnant.
Sophie continued: “She also spoke about how she lost her beloved Dad to motor neurone disease, just a month before her daughter was born.
“Her daughter still has a bond with Grandad Frank, who gives her a Christmas present each year, as Charlotte knows exactly what he would have chosen.”
Meanwhile, Sophie added that she’d been inspired by the sight of Charlotte’s daughter Ella Rose, now 8, following in her mum’s footsteps as a TV presenter role this summer and interviewing her idol George Ezra.
“She did it so well that it made me want to see lots more children putting adults in the hot seat – especially politicians!” she concluded.
Meanwhile, Charlotte is in good company with her support for Global, as Amanda Holden recently scaled Blackpool Tower in a hard hat and harness, climbing right up to 518 feet above the ground to raise funds for good causes.
