I’m A Celebrity star ‘insured for £100,000,000’ in case of injury
I’m A Celeb: Grace says she ‘wants to go home’
After joining the jungle earlier this week on this year’s I’m A Celebrity, it’s being reported that Frankie Dettori has allegedly been insured for £100 million in case of an injury.
The 52-year-old is said to have been extra careful before signing up to the ITV show as he doesn’t want to jeopardise his career as a jockey with an injury in the jungle.
A source told The Mirror: “Frankie can earn huge sums by winning races in this country and the prize money is even higher abroad.
“But even a small injury in the jungle, such as a damaged finger, could leave him unable to complete.
“He wants to throw himself into all of the trials that jungle bosses throw at him – he won’t be holding back while he’s in the camp.

“But he’s also sensible of what an injury could mean for his career and future earnings, and wanted that taken into account in his deal.”
According to the publication, the jockey, 52, has a personal insurance policy worth £50m – but would only sign up after the show took out two extra policies.
Express.co.uk has contacted Frankie Dettori’s representatives for comment.
The sports star has reportedly raked in a tidy sum of £1 million to enter the jungle this year.

The television personality joined the show on Thursday’s episode along with boxer Tony Bellew.
The campmates were ushered to the ‘Scarena’ for their very first group trial which saw them compete against one another.
However, the celebrities were in for a huge shock when they found out that they would be divided into two camps.
Declan Donnelly explained the big twist, stating: “You are the winning team and you’re heading back to the main camp where you’ll eat well tonight. You are now the Home team.
“That means you guys over there are heading to Snake Rock. You’ll be on rice and beans and you are now the Away team.
“Now, to have the best chance of success, every team needs a good coach!”
