Frankie and Tony are straight into the action in the ‘Scarena’
Tony Bellew has shared that him and his wife Rachael were left “skint” after he was crowned boxing world champion in 2016.
The 40-year-old, who has joined I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! this year, revealed that he experienced money worries shortly after his boxing success.
Speaking about his career to the campmates, he admitted: “We were in the kitchen and my missus said, ‘That it now then, that’s you done?’.
“And I believe that a man should go out and provide for his family, probably everyone doesn’t agree with this or like it anymore…
“I go out and work and I try to give them the best I can… she said, ‘What do you mean?’ I said, ‘We’re so far away from financial security.’ We were basically f***ing skint.”

He added: “I had a big, heavy, heavy mortgage. I shouldn’t say skint, but I was living on fight to fight.”
Tony retired in 2018 from professional boxing but originally became WBC champion at Cruiserweight in 2016.
He reportedly bagged himself £2.8 million after defeating David Haye, and earned £4 million in 2018 after he lost to Oleksandr Usyk before he announced his retirement.
Tony first started competing in 2007 and has worked as a sports pundit since his retirement.
He also appeared in Hollywood films such as Creed, Creed II and Creed III, which featured Michael B. Jordan.
