Sophie Turner breaks silence after confirming split with Joe Jonas
Joe Jonas has taken to the stage to warn fans ‘not believe everything’ amid his split from Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner.
The couple announced their plans to divorce in a joint statement on Instagram on Wednesday, causing a flurry of speculation about the reasons for their breakup.
At his gig with the Jonas Brothers at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles last night, Joe addressed the rumours indirectly, urging fans to only believe information coming directly from him.
“It’s been a tough week,” Jonas said to the crowd.
“I just wanna say, look: if you don’t hear it from these lips, don’t believe it. Okay? Thank you everyone for your love and support. Me and my family love you guys.”

Since the announcement of their split, there have been numerous rumours about why the couple have gone their separate ways.
A source told TMZ at the time: “She likes to party, he likes to stay at home. They have very different lifestyles.”
However, fans have come out against that claim, after videos surfaced stating it was the other way around with HBO star star preferring to stay at home.
Announcing their divorce shortly after the paperwork was filed in Florida, Sophie and Joe wrote: “After four years of wonderful marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage.
“There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”
