Love Islands Luca Bish moves on from Gemma Owen with love of his life
Luca Bish shared a life update with fans in which he appeared to hint at a new romance, one year after his split from ex-girlfriend Gemma Owen.
The Love Island star, 24, made it to the show's final in 2022 with Gemma, 20, but split in November, just a few months after leaving the villa.
Since then, Luca has returned to TV screens with a stint on Celebrity Masterchef, where he yet again made it to the final but failed to win the series.
The former fishmonger has now taken to Instagram to share a number of recent photos, as he shared his "September best bits."
Photos included saw him posing in his Masterchef apron, holiday in St Tropez and Fiji, and taking part in some boxing.
One snap saw the reality TV star sitting on a sofa texting, and in the caption wrote that he was "texting the love of my life."
Luca did not reveal who he was referring, but fellow ex-Love Islander Ron Hall quickly to to the comment section, quipping: "Lies you was texting me in that one" to which Luca replied: "you know me I don’t text [laughing emoji]."
And fans were quick to question who this mystery new love is, with one writing: "Is everyone ignoring #3….love of his life? Tell us more, Luca!"
During his time on Love Island, Luca was accused of “controlling” behaviour and was left reluctant to ever work on TV again due to the toll the programme took on him mentally, however, he later decided to return to TV, telling OK! that he now feels like himself again.
He told us: "Making [Celebrity Masterchef] has brought me back to being the Luca before the villa.
"I felt myself again, it made me feel comfortable to do TV again. I was still very unsure if I wanted to be put in a situation where you can be shown in a certain light, but it made me feel so happy."
Discussing his time on Love Island, Luca continued: "I was like a battery and most of my juice was gone by the end of it and I was just ready to go.
“I was mentally not there. When my mum and dad came in [as part of the Meet the Parents challenge], they even said they weren’t looking at their son.
"And that’s sad to hear, but thanks to MasterChef I feel back and if not better than I have before. It’s just learning, but I feel amazing. I’ve embraced it."
