Love Island’s Maura Higgins and Faye Winter deny furious row at NTAs over ‘thrown shoe’

Love Island stars Maura Higgins and Faye Winter have denied reports that they had a row at the NTAs, after a video was posted online of the duo having a heated chat at a bar.

Reports stated that the duo were in a heated exchange for over an hour at the event on Tuesday, 5 September, before a friend intervened in the conversation to smooth things over, according to The Sun.

Guests also claimed that the former islanders were pointing fingers at each other during their row and that Maura called Faye a “silly cow”.

Maura hit back at the reports online and revealed that the Love Island duo were simply having a “passionate conversation” and that the two remained good friends with “no drama”.

Maura took to her Instagram stories and penned: “Borrringgg!!!! Can’t have a passionate conversation without people videoing and press trying to turn women against one another…ILY @faye_winter no drama here”.

Faye reposted Maura’s comments and added: “I mean she calls me a silly cow most days and she ain’t wrong [laughing face] and I can confirm no designer shoes were disrespected in the conversation.”

According to The Sun, the row between the stunning pair was over a pair of designer shoes as a source claimed to the publication that Faye threw her shoes at Maura earlier in the evening.

The NTAs brought out some stunning fashion looks from the celebs and Maura looked stunning as she walked the red carpet in a black cut out gown with embellished pearl details. For her glam, the star opted for dewy, bronzed skin and a sultry cat eye that made her awards ceremony ready.

Red carpets are the perfect place to go all out, and Maura’s smokey cat eye helped level up her glam to suit her incredible floor length gown.

Maura was followed on the red carpet by her fellow Love Island stars, including Love Island finalist Molly Marsh, who was in attendance with her boyfriend Zachariah Noble.

Molly looked stunning in a white embellished maxi dress and wore her blonde locks swept back in a bun with statement earrings. She kept her make-up simple but glowy.

Tasha Ghouri, who is known for her stylish outfits, also wowed in a lilac sheer gown complete with feather detailing, which she paired with matching accessories and her long blonde locks in loose waves.
