S Club abandon tour show as arena is evacuated during rescheduled performance
S Club were forced to abandon a tour show during their performance in Liverpool on Monday, 30 October.
A video posted to Twitter showed the house lights on in the arena with fans leaving their seats.
The singers have been touring the UK in a comeback spectacular, with tonight's performance being a rescheduled show from Friday, 13 October.
The show was previously cancelled due to 'unforeseen circumstances' which were later revealed to be a fire that knocked out electrics at the M&S Bank Arena.
On that occasion, Bradley McIntosh, Rachel Stevens, Jo O'Meara, Tina Barrett, and Jon Lee said they were unable to take to the stage in Merseyside due to the venue confirming a 'technical issue.'
In a statement, they said at the time: "Due to an unforeseen technical issue that is beyond our control and impacting the power supply, we have sadly been forced to take the decision – with the event promoter – to postpone tonight's performance by S Club.
