Country singer Zach Bryan was arrested Thursday in Vinita, Oklahoma in connection with obstruction of investigation.
The 27-year-old musical artist was held in custody in the Craig County Jail, TMZ reported, citing jail records.
‘Today I had an incident with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Emotions got the best of me and I was out of line in the things I said,’ he said in a tweet late Thursday.
He continued: ‘I support law enforcement as much as anyone can, I was just frustrated in the moment, it was unlike me and I apologize. They brought me to jail, and there is a mug shot of me floating around.
‘Prayers we can all move on from this and prayers people know I’m just trying the best I can, I love you guys and I am truly sorry to the officers.’

The singer-songwriter, who is a veteran of the Navy, addressed details of the incident in a tweet on Thursday evening
Bryan earlier Thursday took to Instagram with a shot of a rural setting in a vehicle with his dog in his front seat.
He indicated was traveling to watch his favorite football team – the Philadelphia Eagles – in their season opener against the New England Patriots in Massachusetts on Sunday.
‘On the road again, gonna go see the birds win,’ he captioned the post.
The Something in the Orange performer added a few more tweets after addressing the incident.
When a fan asked him how his dog was doing after the incident, Bryan said the canine was ‘perfect’ as he was ‘fed and snoozing and riding shotgun.’
He also wrote: ‘STILL F***N HIGHWAYING ACROSS THE COUNTRY OL SONS LETS GOOOO.’
The tweet was met with a variety of reactions, with most of Bryan’s followers appearing to have his back amid the legal mishap.
One user quoted lyrics from his track Whiskey Fever: ‘And I was four hundred miles down Highway 10/ All of a sudden I was arrested again.’

The brush with the law comes as Bryan has been surging professionally: In August, the singer-songwriter, who is a veteran of the Navy, released his eponymous fourth studio album, which premiered in the top spot of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

He has climbed the country music ranks in recent years, debuting at the famed Grand Ole Opry in Nashville in April of 2021. The following month, he was awarded the New Male Artist of the Year at the Academy of Country Music Awards.
Bryan is currently dating TikTok star Brianna LaPaglia, who’s also known as Brianna Chickenfry.
