BACARDÍ Rum and Filling Pieces Reveal Dance-Ready Capsule Collaboration
BACARDÍ Rum and Filling Pieces have joined forces for Amsterdam Dance Event, aiming to create a world immersed in music, movement, and fashion.
The duo will inject energy into the heart of Amsterdam with a bespoke capsule collection along with a brand-new pop-up and diverse music experience. With this in mind, BACARDÍ and Filling Pieces are aiming to create a moment for people to connect and embrace individuality while continuing to follow both brands’ mantras and encourage guests to indulge in Bacardi’s motto of “Do What Moves You.”
Taking over the Filling Pieces flagship store in Amsterdam’s Canal District between October 19 and 21, the space will be transformed to showcase the nine-piece capsule collection, which will feature a line of outerwear, hoodies, T-shirts, and sneakers. Each inclusion in the capsule has been designed with a clean-cut silhouette, while its understated color scheme typifies the Filling Pieces aesthetic.
Additionally, the BACARDÍ x Filling Pieces collaboration will host a dance floor, where the “Sound of Rum” will come alive through a selection of DJ sets from the likes of Jarreau Vandal, CinCity, Philou Louzolo, and Patrick Mason. Meanwhile, the pop-up event — which is taking place during Amsterdam Dance Event — will allow guests to be “immersed in the Caribbean heritage” of Bacardi, as they sip on cocktails and explore the brand’s collaboration with Filling Pieces.
Guillaume Philibert, Creative Director and Founder of Filling Pieces, said: “Both BACARDÍ and Filling Pieces encourage people to express themselves through music and their own individual styles – which is very important for us. We have combined our craft and knowledge with BACARDÍ and we’re excited to share this collaboration and event with our community.”
