David Beckham Almost Missed His Son's Birth Because He Was With This 'Gorgeous' A-Lister & Victoria Wasn't Happy About It

Victoria Beckham had a rather hilarious response when David Beckham almost missed their third child’s birth due to a photoshoot with another famous female singer.

The former Spice Girl reflected on the 2005 birth of her son Cruz in a four-part Netflix series about David’s monumental soccer career, Beckham. Victoria, 49, revealed that her husband, 48, almost didn’t make it to Cruz’s birth because of a photoshoot with Jennifer Lopez.

“I was like, ‘Seriously, I’m about to burst, I’m on bed rest. Are you kidding me?!’” she said. “You’ve got a damn photo shoot with Jennifer Lopez — who is gorgeous and not about to have a baby.”

The singer-turned-fashion-designer hilariously added, “So I had my C-section and I remember lying there. I don’t feel at my most gorgeous, let’s just say, and I remember someone showing me the front page of the newspaper, which was a gorgeous picture of David between Jennifer Lopez and Beyoncé, and the headline was, ‘What would Posh say?’ Let me tell you what Posh would say. Posh was pissed off!”

18-year-old Cruz is the third of the couple’s four children in addition to sons Brooklyn, 24, Romeo, 21, and daughter Harper, 12. Victoria and David began dating in 1997 and married two years later.

While Victoria’s confession about Cruz’s birth was one of the more light-hearted revelations in the docuseries, the couple were also candid about some of the more difficult parts of their decades-long relationship, namely claims that emerged in 2003 accusing David of having an affair.
