Leica Launches New ZM 11 Watch Collection
Continuing to venture into the time-telling sphere, Leica just revealed its latest ZM 11 watch collection.
Housed in a sleek and robust 41mm watch case, the new model is offered in stainless steel and titanium builds both perfect for exemplifying Leica’s timeless design as well as precise, and robust craftsmanship. A departure from the previously released Leica ZM, the ZM 11 is presented with a vastly different look, while still upholding its makers’ prominent design language. The dual-layered dial interplays with light and shadow via its striated patterns, which flicker from one hue to another.
A total of three different dial color combinations are available, which comprise a black and red variant for the limited ZM 11 Titanium Launch Edition; a subtle coffee-black-meets-warm-black colorway for the regular Titanium edition; and a midnight blue-centric version for the Steel option. Each option is embellished with applied hour markers as well as baton handsets, all luminously coated in a complementing color that best suits its corresponding dial.
The new reference is operated by Leica’s very own LA-3001 caliber, which has been created with the help of Swiss movement developer, Chronode. Capable of continuously running up to 60 hours when fully wound, the ZM 11 is also equipped with a 10 ATM water resistance.
Priced from €6,800 – €8,150 EUR (approximately $7,207 – $8,638 USD), all variants of the ZM 11 watch will be available at select Leica stores around the world around the end of November. For more information regarding the watches’ availability, keep an eye out on Leica’s official website for updates.
