Netflix's 'Chicken Run 2: Dawn of the Nugget' Saves Animal Friends From Sizzling Faits

In early 2020, it was announced that Aardman Animation Studios‘ Chicken Run would receive a highly-anticipated sequel adapted by Netflix. Three years later, the first trailer has finally arrived.

The original film follows a fleet of chickens attempting to escape their farm after realizing Mr. Tweedy planned to kill them. The resistance was led by Ginger the chicken, who meets Rocky the rooster and successfully break free from death’s grip.

Chicken Run 2: Dawn of the Nugget sees roles reversed as the original crew works to trespass their new bird sanctuary and save other chickens at risk. Zachary Levi, Thandiwe Newton, Romesh Ranganathan, and Daniel Mays will voice Rocky, Ginger, Nick, and Fetcher. David Bradley will play Fowler, while Nick Mohammed and Josie Sedgwick-Davies are cast as two new characters.

Watch the first trailer for Chicken Run 2: Dawn of the Nugget above. The film will be released on December 15 only via Netflix.
