Nirvana's 'In Utero' Is Receiving a 30th Anniversary Edition
Nirvana‘s In Utero is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a special edition.
Set to drop on October 27, the reissue will feature a remaster of the original 12 songs, five bonus tracks and B-sides, plus a whopping 53 previously unreleased tracks, the entirety of their 1993 Los Angeles and final 1994 Seattle shows, six bonus live tracks recorded in Rome, Springfield, and New York.
The record will be released as a limited edition 8LP Super Deluxe box set, 5CD Super Deluxe box set, a 2CD Deluxe edition, a 1LP vinyl edition and a digital Super Deluxe edition. The physical Super Deluxe box set will arrive with a front cover acrylic panel with the album’s Angel motif, a 48-page hardcover book with unreleased and a 20-page fan zine, a Los Angeles tour poster lithograph, along with replicas of the record store promo Angel mobile from 1993, three gig fliers, two ticket stubs for the Los Angeles and Seattle shows an All-Access tour laminated pass and four sticky tour backstage passes for Press, Photo, After Show and Local Crew.
Nirvana’s In Utero (3oth Anniversary Edition) releases October 27.
