Simone Bellotti's Debut Bally Campaign Heads Back Home

In May 2023, Simone Bellotti took over Rhuigi Villaseñor‘s leadership role at Swiss luxury label Bally. The Italian designer was appointed as Bally’s new Design Director, looking to bring a fresh perspective to the 171-year-old imprint. Ahead of his runway debut at Milan Fashion Week, Bellotti unveils his first campaign for the House, traveling to Bally Foundation’s home for art and culture in Lake Lugano, Switzerland.

The Fall/Winter 2023 campaign gives a first look at what Bellotti has in store, painting an elegant picture of Bally’s future. While Villaseñor’s short tenure mixed a bold vision of sophistication and luxury, Bellotti prefers to keep things clean and simple. The campaign strengthens House language by returning to its roots, backdropped by crystal-clear Swiss waters and starring brand ambassador Roy Wang.

Bellotti’s intimate campaign previews Bally classics pulled from the archives, featuring relaxed outerwear, form-fitting denim, and premium leather garments. Refined clutch bags are cemented with gold Bally lettering, while cozy shearling coats and wide-leg bottoms complement crocodile shoulder bags in neutral tones.

Take a closer look at Bally’s FW23 campaign in the gallery above. Simone Bellotti will debut his first collection as Design Director on September 23 at Milan Fashion Week.
