Uber Eats Will Now Let You Order From Two Places at Once
Uber Eats is changing up its food delivery policies by allowing its users to now bundle their orders. To make it easier to satisfy cravings and two choose options from various vendors, the food delivery service has now introduced a multi-store ordering feature. This new feature will allow Uber Eats users to purchase food from two different merchants at the same time, without having to pay any additional delivery fees.
We have all been there — where we may want a dessert from another merchant without having to wait for our mains to arrive first before placing another order. In the past, Uber Eats has only allowed bundled orders for convenient store items during the checkout process, however, since the company beta tested the feature, consumers’ feedbacks pushed Uber Eats to offer the option to order from two different merchants instead.
In order to do so, the user can star by adding items from one store to their cart before tapping the button that says “bundle another store” at the bottom of the screen. There, they can add other items from another store selection before they check out. Uber Eats would suggest to the user nearby stores that can be conveniently bundled into the order. It will not not be limiting the number of stores recommended, including restaurants, convenient stores and even a liquor merchant. The bundling option is now being rolled out nationwide.
