CHRISTMAS is just around the corner and this year retailers are offering last-minute shoppers some of the best deals ever.
With consumer spending still low, retailers have mountains of stock they are trying to shift so they are slashing prices.
It represents the perfect opportunity to buy some last-minute Christmas gifts for those who may not have even started yet.
Retailers are desperate to entice customers which means there should be some great bargains.
The stores which have sales on and have slashed their prices over the next few weeks are listed below.
George/Asda
George Asda has started their early Christmas sale with a bang by offering up to 50% off Christmas trees.

Customers now have the perfect opportunity to get a last-minute Christmas tree for half the price or can start planning ahead for next year.
George Asda is also offering discounts of up to 50% on more than 50 Christmas decorations and gifts.
That includes saving £60 on an Inflatable Car Decoration and £50 on a Silver Reindeer Decoration.
Shoppers can also save £10 on a Gold Metal Trim Drinks Trolley, down to just £25, and £9 on a Glass Jug Blender & Cocktail Making Set.

12You could make some huge savings by taking advantage of John Lewis' reduced to clear Christmas offer.
Like George Asdsa, the department store is also offering slashed prices on trees and decorations, while there is a 50% off offer on a set of 10 Clear Micro Bottle LED String Solar Lights for just £12.
But it is the reduced prices of some fancy advent calendars that are catching people's eyes.
The Fizz Advent Calendar was £140 but is now going for £98 – the perfect opportunity for shoppers to stock up on their alcohol ahead of Christmas Day.
Now is also the best time to nab Christmas hampers from the retailer with some down to less than half price.

Amazon
Amazon is offering a number of deals and discounts on gifts as part of its Christmas clearance sale.
The online retailer is now selling a fancy Baylis & Harding Luxury Slipper Gift Set for just £16.70, having been originally priced at £33.
If you miss out, however, then there are plenty of other gift options the day after Christmas under prime deals.

B&M
Parents will be pleased to know B&M has launched a huge last-minute toy sale ahead of Christmas and shoppers are already rushing to nab the best deals.
Shoppers can grab three selected toys for the price of £20 including, Barbies, and play squishmallows.
However, shoppers will need to act quickly as the sale ends on Sunday 24 December.
Superdry
We've had a much warmer winter than we usually would this year which means many of us haven't bought winter coats.
This has left some stores with lots of coats and outerwear they need to get rid of before Spring, so prices are getting slashed.
Superdry has launched a massive sale with up to 50% off on coats, jackets and hoodies.
Jumpers, joggers and other warmer wear will also see prices cut in the sale.
Next
Next has confirmed its winter sale will start earlier this year with the high street brand promising shoppers most items in the sale will be at least 50% off.
Shoppers usually flock to stores as early as 6am to nab deals on clothes, shoes and accessories.
VIP Members have already started getting exclusive access before the Next sale is launched in-store and are invited to browse the sale online and purchase items ahead of the sale.

Dunelm
Dunelm has already launched a massive winter sale with pricey furniture and homeware drastically reduced.
Shoppers can buy furniture, homeware, lighting and clothes up to 50% off.
A selection of festive decorations are also on sale, however, if you order any of these items you may need to wait until after Christmas for them to arrive.
But not all the deals are online shoppers have already spotted reduced Christmas items in stores.
Debenhams
The Debenhams Christmas sale is well underway with everything from air fryers to accessories reduced by up to 80% off.
In a bid to entice customers further, the retailer is offering an extra 10% of an additional 10,000 lines.
The Range
The Range specialises in discounted pricing all year round but they've stepped it up once more ahead of Christmas.
They are another retail company offering big discounts on a number of Christmas-themed items, including a staggering 98% saving on a Moss Wreath Ring – down from £303.46 to just £4.99.
If you fancy something exciting for the kids, then you can now snap up a Christmas Musical Snow Globe for 89% of the original price at just £15.99.
While the biggest savings are on decorations, there are also plenty of smaller offers on gifts – including for pets.
Matalan
Matalan could land you some of the best deals in the run-up to Christmas as time runs out to buy your presents.
The fashion and homeware retailer is providing discounts on Christmas clothes, decorations and gifts – with up to 50% off some items.
There are also deals on Christmas Gonks, Luminous Candles and Diffusers.
Boots
Boots started releasing its early Christmas advent calendars back in October.
Premium beauty calendars were on offer to give shoppers a chance to stretch their money worth.
But the deals don't stop there, the high street store will still be launching its annual Boxing Day sale.
Last year there were hundreds of deals and savings on bestselling products from brands like Fenty Beauty, Oral-B, No7, Remington, Philips and many more.
