A Burning Man regular has told of what it's like inside the festival's notorious "Orgy Dome", revealing things can get very "dusty".
Every year thousands of festivalgoers, known as burners, transform the Nevada desert with themed camps that form Black Rock City and enjoy nine days of wild fun hailed as a "transformative experience".
For many, one of the biggest draws is the opportunities for sexual exploration and one of the best places at Burning Man for that is the Orgy Dome.

The famous free-love tent is located in the festival's And Then There's Only Love camp (ATTOL) and has been a Burning Man staple for more than a decade.
Campers at Burning Man are expected to follow the principle of "radical self-reliance", meaning they must bring everything they'll need to survive the nine-day event with them — not even water or showers are provided.
For campers at the And Then There's Only Love site, this also means having all the items you'll need for your sexual escapades, with the one Reddit user, who is a "proud camper" at ATTOL and goes by the name Spirit Dom, explaining the free-love tent is a "bring your own orgy".
He explained: "We would encourage you to embrace radical self-reliance. We do not provide a shower or wet wipes and you should find ways to ensure you or your partners are properly protected. Bring some wet wipes with you".
Going into detail about what to expect inside the tent, he revealed the desert landscape means dust is unavoidable.
"The space inside the dome is cleaner than outside (there is flooring, 'walls', and is air-conditioned), but there will be dust for sure — as there will be everywhere on the playa," he added.
Luckily there's a simple solution — sex sheets.
The regular burner explained: "We do put on clean sheets often, and encourage you to bring your own for sure. Although I haven't used it in the dome yet, I do bring a 'sex sheet' with me to BM. I might use it in the dome this year."
But another Orgy Dome regular chimed in with some more advice, revealing the dust doesn't tend to cause any issues and recommended people simply embrace it.
They said: "I’ve had a variety of lovers, none had dust-related issues in the v but chaffing from bike seats is rampant on all butt cheeks. A dusty nipple is a delight in the mouth. A dusty neck lick or ear lobe is a playa treat."
Spirit Dom revealed he was one of the ATTOL campers responsible for giving people about to enter the tent a talk about consent and has witnessed large groups going in together.
He said: "Last year the largest group I gave a consent talk to had 13 people they were playing with!"
But he revealed there's one strict rule about the tent — you must have at least one partner with you to be granted access.
This means any singletons will have to find a partner willing to join them inside and you have to stick with them too — but it doesn't mean you can't experiment with other couples.
The ATTOL camper explained: "That doesn't mean you won't meet people that may provide consent for you to connect with, but you must be at least partnered when you enter and stay connected to your partner(s)."
When it comes to exactly what goes down inside the Orgy Dome, other burners have taken to Reddit to discuss their experiences over the years.
One person revealed: "It was kind of funny in there actually. We found a spot next to a foursome and laid down and started doing our thing.
"All around us it seemed like people were trying to outdo each other, by moaning louder or just making more noise. We heard one girl say something to the effect of 'look at all these beautiful men around us!'"
Another said it's "generally not a writhing pile of 10 or 15 naked bodies as the name might suggest" but revealed there's often "couples, with some threesomes and moresome" with the occasional partner swapping and "more".
They added: "Usually there are some people watching on the edges, voyeurism and having an audience are definitely in play here, so know that going in."
