‘Trolls mocked me after my double mastectomy – now I’m posing for Page 3’

A woman who was trolled after undergoing a double mastectomy whipped her top off to celebrate her body and pose for Page 3.

It comes as sex positive adult film pioneer Erika Lust is leading a campaign called "One More Page 3". She has worked to create what she describes as "the most inspirational and empowering Page 3 shoot of all time", featuring a topless model without breasts.

Danni Moore, 32, underwent treatment that included an elective double mastectomy, and afterwards she was relentlessly trolled and told she "looked like a boy". But she wants to show women can still be sexy following life-changing procedures.

Created to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the campaign wants to normalise double mastectomies and celebrate body diversity and female sexuality. The images feature topless model and breast cancer survivor, Danni, in a bid to normalise and shine a light on the diverse range of cancer experiences.

Danni said: "I am delighted to be the face of a campaign that celebrates the female body, while of course raising awareness of breast cancer, a cause that’s so significant to me. Normalising mastectomies and showcasing women with a range of bodies is so important.

"It’s time to show what cancer can leave behind and I hope I can make others feel more body confident, while at the same time remind everyone to check themselves regularly."

Erika added: "We have created One More Page 3, where there are no breasts at all, to positively reinforce that all kinds of bodies are beautiful. Danni is an inspiration, a role model and we wanted to celebrate her body to challenge conventions as to what a topless model could and should look like.

"Breasts are part of our sexuality and self-identification, and for those that have experienced breast cancer or undergone mastectomies, body image can be a difficult thing to overcome.

"Our campaign is all about celebrating and normalising the female body, and raising awareness of breast cancer and its lasting impact. We are calling on the media, women and people of all genders to celebrate and share this image to challenge the orthodoxy of glamour and body image."

To support the campaign, ERIKALUST is encouraging breast cancer survivors to share their stories on social media by using #OneMorePage3 and tagging @ErikaLustFilms. She hopes this will work to generate awareness of breast cancer during the month of October.

The One More Page 3 campaign follows ERIKALUST’s ground-breaking film, Wash Me , the world’s first explicit film to raise awareness of breast cancer and its impact on sex and sexuality. Released in 2021 and based on director Rebecca Stewart’s own story and experiences, the film is an intimate portrait of a woman rediscovering her body, sexuality and pleasure following cancer treatment.

Erika will also be donating £2,000 to a global breast cancer charity as part of the campaign.
