Some tattoos are unfortunately a reminder of an old romance or just an awful design.

But thankfully, plenty of tattoo artists from around the world are skilled enough to undo their customers’ mistakes with a tasteful cover-up.

People have shared their best ugly tattoo cover ups and Bored Panda collated the most impressive examples into an online gallery.

They include a man who got the name Miller covered up on the back of his neck with an awesome batman tattoo.

Meanwhile, another body art fan got a tiny, smudged spider tattoo covered over with an incredible 3D black widow.
